INTRODUCTION

Basic Food Preparation Laboratory  is one of the available laboratories at the School of Food Science and Technology. This laboratory provides facilities for food  bakery products preparation . This laboratory also trains students to practice the sanitation and cleaning methods in food preparation. Therefore, the food is clean, safe and suitable to be marketed. The courses involved with this lab is Pratical of  Basic Food Preparation (STM 3401 and 3407 STM) and Practical of Pastries and Bakeries (STM 3409). Apart from the practical classes, Basic Food Preparation lab is  also used for research, particularly in the development of food products.
