INTRODUCTION

Food Chemistry Laboratory provides facilities for training and teaching courses involving chemical analysis of food. Practical classes conducted in this laboratory are STM 3101 (Introduction to Food Chemistry), STM 3108 (Food Chemistry) and STM 3111 (Food Chemical Analysis). Facilities available in this laboratory are equipments for sample preparation, proximate analysis and analysis of qualitative / quantitative chemical components of food, ready to be used by Final Year Project students, postgraduate students and researchers.
